Feel free to enter any data you wish in this Section. This information is entered into the actual and complete database which the Directory Committee will maintain of our Class "Membership." The information may be personal, professional, anecdotal or whimsical. You may want to record your children's birth dates or a poem you like or authored. If you have been published or have any particular accomplishments or achievements you wish noted, this is the place to mention it. (All information you enter into the form will default to this "Database" unless you select "Directory" from the top drop-down menu.)
The purpose for this compilation of classmate information has not yet been fully determined. The Class may elect to send birthday postcards to members in order to contact them annually and to verify mailing addresses. We may decide to send out a newsletter or give a copy to a classmate's great-grandchild who will plant it for us on Mars in 30 years. The benefits will probably evolve as classmates offer their suggestions. One classmate, for example, suggested using the site to notify class members, via posting or email, when another passes away, in order that others may respond. It's also a way for us to keep up with each other and facilitate what one classmate refers to as "subgrouping;" for those who wish to have smaller and more frequent "mini reunions" or offer such things as their second (vacation) homes for summer or winter rentals to old friends.
Know that this is a completely separate database from that in Section 2 below, and it will be the only database which will be physically protected, because it can be used to recreate all other databases. All information provided in Section 2 for the Directory will be entered also into this database.
Section 2: Information for DIRECTORY
(Physically-printed or .pdf-formatted digital/electronic data)
(Failure to initial the Release may result in omission from any and all publications approved by the Committee. Similarly, you must enter your initials for any Directory action to take effect, even if you wish your information excluded from the Directory.)
You should enter in this section only the information you wish to be published in a Class Directory or made public via any means other than an "Online Directory." In other words, the information you submit in this section may be used to create directories on paper or saved to a computer, much like a photographic image (.jpg). While the data contained in the various directory formats will not be published online, the directories themselves will be made available for purchase in print or as a file (or files) which can be transferred to verified email addresses of the membership via email servers or, if deemed necessary by the Committee, a secure transfer engine.
The name of each and every known FCHS78 Class Member (about 638 in all) will be printed in the Directory as fully as is known. If we have received additional information from you, from a previously-printed source or from a card you completed at the 30th Reunion, your updated information will be included in the 2008 Directory, as received. If you wish to verify accuracy, make changes, make a "not-to-publish" request for your contact information, or insure the listing is as you wish it, please complete the form(s) below. All information received via this page will supercede any data received at any time prior to the date of your online submission. (Unless otherwise instructed, the Committee will default to the latest known information available.) Photographs should be emailed as an attachment to one of the above email addresses.
